When Should You Schedule Tree Trimming?
For most trees in Phoenix, the best time to schedule trimming is during the cooler months, usually November through February.
During this period, many trees are dormant or growing more slowly, and there is less risk from exposed bark and heat stress.
That said, safety trimming can be done any time of year when a tree presents an immediate hazard.
For storm preparation, we recommend scheduling a pre-monsoon inspection or trim in April or May. Removing weak, dead, or overextended limbs before storm season can reduce the risk of property damage and emergency tree service calls later.
